i’d prefer the second, of course.
but i know I do live the first with several of my high school ‘lovers.’ but srsly, who knows they are in love in high school? You obvi just really care about that person and would give lots of fucks if he/she wasn’t in your life any longer. Don’t get me wrong, you could learn to love that person in a legit way once you learn real shit, such as your left and right, or up versus down. But i don’t think you can romantically, officially, love someone until you really know who you are and what you are.
and i don’t think you can learn who that is until you graduate high school because everyone in high school is just trying to prove something. You’re trying to be a badass bitch, the artsy fartsy kid, a jock, just trying to fit in, or trying to stand out. Whatever your high school ‘label’ is, it could carry on outside of high school, but you won’t know until you get out and experience something real, something more than cement walls, hand-me-down lockers, cafeteria food and big yellow buses.
thats just how I think. I don’t have to be right, because there is no right or wrong in love. it is what it is, and we should just let it be that way.
but nooooo of course we keep analyzing the death out of it. including myself.
just saying.
